Sales Clerk

We are seeking a sales professional with five years of experience as Sales Clerk (SC), preferably in the spectroscopy field. The candidate must have an associate's degree in administrator or a similar field. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the individual should be able to collect accurate information from clients and other sources to progress business from initial contact to sale. The candidate will work closely with service, support, and engineer groups to improve interface at accounts. The ideal candidate should possess superior verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively to customers. Excellent computer skills are a must (i.e Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM).

Essential Responsibilities: The following list highlights the key responsibilities/tasks.

 Customers’ Accounts Information

  • Collects accurate and complete information from different sources such as (Sales Reps, current customers, referrals, webinars, LinkedIn, etc.) and create the contact into the CRM system.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of current contacts in CRM. Eliminates ambiguities and close gaps accordingly.
  • Create sub-contacts as required in CRM referrals or other sources, analyze it and complete each account accordingly
  • Verify customers profile

Internal Relationships and Knowledge

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of C technologies products and services capabilities
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and the area representatives within C Tech

Customer Service

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of customer accounts
  • Provide basic but consistent information’s to customers in order to create the need
  • Provide exceptional customer service, effective and timely communications and responsiveness to all Systems questions and inquiries while maintaining a high level of integrity.

Quoting

  • Initiates quotes.
  • Follows-up proposals to expedite client decisions when paper work is pending.
  • Reviews the purchase decision throughout the client relationship.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Documents information in CRM software including contacts, pre-screened/qualified leads, and new account information as required.
  • Manage CRM system and make full use of the company's technical resources to best solve problems and satisfy customer's needs.
  • Complete customer Confidentiality agreements
  • Complete Customer Business Questionnaires
  • Participate in special projects, as requested by management
  • Develop and maintain up to date sales administrative documents as required
  • Establish and track monthly Sales Objectives for the sales Team
  • Develop and maintain metrics for the Sales Department
  • Develop monthly reports to the Sales Manager

 Qualifications:  The employee in this role should have some or all of the following characteristics/qualifications:

Knowledge:

Education Field:

  • Associate degree in Administration, business higher or similar
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, CRO/CMO industry
