Sales Assistant

 Job Summary:

We are seeking for a sales professional with five-year experience as Sales Assistant. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the individual will spend approx. 70% of their time identifying and cultivating business relationships and opportunities, and collecting accurate information from clients to progress business from initial contact to closing the sale. The candidate will work closely with service and support groups to improve interface at accounts. The balance 30% of their time will be spent on clerical tasks, including quote generation, completion of customer forms and surveys, updating CRM daily with customer information and sales information, and maintaining ISO documentation and Sales related reports. The ideal candidate should possess superior verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to customers. Ability to use appropriate computer equipment and software (i.e Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and CRM) is required.

 Essential Responsibilities: The following list highlights the key responsibilities/tasks.

 Customers’ Accounts Information

  • Collects accurate and complete information from different sources (Sales Rep, current customers, referrals, webinars, LinkedIn, etc…) to create the contact in CRM.
  • Obtain missing information from referrals or other sources, analyze it and complete each account and contact  accordingly
  • Understand the market accurately to perform proper categorization of customers contacts
  • Targets and qualifies new contacts to create new business opportunities

. Internal Relationships and Knowledge

  • Works closely with service and support groups to improve interface at accounts
  • Acts as a liaison between the customer and the area representatives within C Tech.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of the company's products and services capabilities.
  • Merges the existing and future needs of the customer with solutions.

 Customer Relationship

  • Identify and cultivate business relationships and opportunities to generate revenue with prospective and existing clients through referrals, social media and cold calling.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of customer accounts
  • Provide exceptional customer service, effective and timely communications and responsiveness to all Systems questions and inquiries while maintaining a high level of integrity.
  • Build new customer relationships
  • Understand new customer needs and report them to the Sales Manager

 Quoting

  • Initiates and follows-up on quotes and proposals sent for purposes of both gathering client feedback and expediting client decisions.
  • Reinforces, communicates, and reviews the purchase decision throughout the client relationship.

 Documentation and Reporting

  • Documents information in CRM software including contacts, pre-screened/qualified leads, and new account information as required.
  • Manage CRM system and make full use of the company's technical resources to best solve problems and satisfy customer's needs.
  • Complete customer Confidentiality agreements
  • Complete Customer Business Questionnaires
  • Participate in special projects, as requested by management
  • Develop and maintain up to date sales administrative documents as required
  • Establish and track monthly Sales Objectives for the sales Team
  • Develop and maintain metrics for the Sales Department
  • Develop monthly reports to the Sales Manager

 

 Qualifications:  The employee in this role should have some or all of the following  characteristics/qualifications:

 Knowledge:

 Education Field:

  • B.S. Science
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, CRO/CMO industry
